How it works
The Google profile check looks up your pharmacy’s Business Profile — the panel with your map pin, hours and reviews — and reports what is there and what is missing: opening hours, categories, website link, photos, rating and review count. It shows you the profile the way a patient sees it, which is often not the way the owner imagines it.
How it works
The check searches Google’s business data for the pharmacy name and postcode you enter and reads the public fields of the matching profile. It cannot see private data or insights; it sees what any patient sees.
What to look for
- No profile found — claim one; it is the single biggest local visibility fix available.
- Missing hours or wrong hours — the most common cause of bad reviews.
- Primary category not “Pharmacy”, or no secondary categories for the services you offer.
- No website link, or a link to a social page rather than your own site.
- Few or old reviews — ask, consistently and within the rules.
