PharmGrowth / Platform / Patient appPatient app

A white-label pharmacy app, built to be published as your pharmacy.

Your name, your icon, your services. Patients reorder from a saved medication list, book services, shop and get “ready” and “on its way” notifications — and every order lands in the same dashboard as your website.

Quoted per pharmacy, on top of PharmGrowth Plus.

What it is

What a white-label pharmacy app actually is.

A patient-facing app built and maintained by a software provider, then published under an individual pharmacy’s own name, logo and branding. The pharmacy gets its own app without building one; the provider keeps the software underneath updated for everyone at once.

  • Not a marketplace app with your pharmacy listed inside someone else’s brand
  • Not custom development you have to maintain, or pay to maintain, forever
  • Built on your PharmGrowth website: same services, stock, forms and dashboard
  • Updates, security fixes and OS changes are made by us and released to every pharmacy’s app

Alongside the NHS App

Your app vs the NHS App.

Patients in England already have the NHS App. Your app does not replace it and is not connected to it — it does the things the NHS App does not do.

Plainly: the patient app is a channel to your pharmacy. It has no integration with the NHS App, EPS, the GP record or your PMR, and nothing on it says otherwise. Pharmacy app vs the NHS App →

Website and app together

One system, two front doors.

The website is how new patients find you on Google. The app is how existing patients come back. Because the app is built on the website, they share everything behind the scenes.

  • Change a service, a price or your hours once — website and app both update
  • Shop stock is one stock; a product sold in the app leaves the website shelf too
  • App orders, website orders and bookings land in the same dashboard tabs
  • Add Routly and “your delivery is on its way” comes from the driver’s round

Questions

Patient app: questions owners ask

01

How much does the patient app cost?

It is quoted per pharmacy. The plan includes everything in PharmGrowth Plus — the website, online shop, customer accounts and dashboard the app runs on — plus the app itself.

02

Do I need a PharmGrowth website first?

Yes. The app mirrors your website and shop and shares their dashboard, stock, orders and bookings, so it is built on PharmGrowth Plus rather than as a separate system.

03

Is it available on iOS and Android?

The app is built for both. Each pharmacy’s app is published as part of its build: developer accounts are set up with you and the app goes through each store’s review before listing. This page links to no live store listing — ask us for the current status when you request a quote.

04

Is it connected to the NHS App, EPS or my PMR?

No. Repeat and nomination requests submitted in the app go to your dashboard for your team to action in the usual way.

05

Where is patient data stored?

Your pharmacy is the data controller; PharmGrowth processes data on your behalf under the data processing agreement every client signs. App orders sit in the same dashboard as website orders.

06

What happens if I cancel?

Billing is monthly. On cancellation your data is exported or deleted on request, and the store listing is taken down as part of that process.
